YEIDA to Embrace Digital Building Approval Process

The development of the Noida International Airport has sparked expectations of significant growth in the real estate sector in the region. The Yamuna Expressway Authority (YEIDA) is taking steps to streamline and expedite building approval procedures by adopting a digital platform to support this expansion.

YEIDA Initiates Digital Transformation
In a bid to support the growth of the real estate sector, YEIDA has started the process of hiring a consultant company. The primary goal is to design, develop, implement, customise, and maintain an online automated building plan management system (BPMS).

Request for Proposal (RFP) Issued
YEIDA has officially issued a request for proposal (RFP) for hiring a consultant to implement the digital building plan management system. The consultant will be engaged for a three year term to ensure a comprehensive and efficient approach to digital transformation.

Application Deadline and Bid Opening
Interested parties have until August 28 to submit their applications for consideration. The technical bid review is scheduled to take place on August 30, when the selected consultant will be determined.

Comprehensive System Incorporating Key Aspects
The proposed digital system will encompass crucial aspects, including technical, legal, and IT considerations. Its purpose is to re-engineer and automate the entire building approval process within YEIDA. From the empanelment of architects to online document submissions, fee payments, scrutiny, building plan approval, and issuance of completion/occupation certificates, the system aims to streamline the workflow efficiently.
