Why New Gurgaon is Slated to be the Next Real Estate Hotspot | New Gurugram

Gurgaon or Gurugram is known for its skyscrapers, booming infrastructure, rapid urbanisation and economic prosperity. It is the second-largest technology hub and the third-largest financial and banking hub of the country. However, the real estate market in the city is heading towards saturation. Over the last 2-3 years, some fluctuations have been seen in the market.

Gurgaon is trying to overcome the effects of RERA, GST and demonetisation, and demand will be back on track shortly. However, New Gurgaon is becoming a real estate hotspot for property buyers because of several residential and commercial spaces and impeccable connectivity to various National Capital Region (NCR) areas. New Gurgaon is divided into two clusters - Sectors 102 to 113, and Sectors 76 to 95 & 95A.

Gurgaon Metro gets Green Signal: Government of Haryana has announced that Public Investment Board (PIB) has given green signal to Gurgaon Metro extension. Clearance has been given for the 28.5-km-long metro corridor between HUDA City Centre and Cyber City in Gurugram. The same corridor has been approved by Manohar Lal Khattar.

It is expected that the line will have 27 elevated stations between Huda City Centre and DLF Cyber City. The elevated line will also include a station at Dwarka Expressway. This metro route will give seamless connectivity to Indira Gandhi International Airport and Gurugram.
In the financial year 2022-23, Gurgaon Metro has Rs 21.6 crore up to October 2022 when compared to earning of Rs 3.84 crore last year. Reason behind the hike is increase in ridership as well as commercial activities. The ridership has increased from 8500 per day to 40,000 a day.

The MRTS will also interchange with the Dwarka Expressway at Sector 110-A. The National Capital Region’s transportation system will operate more effectively due to these linkages.
