Strong Response to DDAs Housing Scheme, 25 Per cent Flats Booked within 10 Days

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) recently launched a housing scheme offering 5,500 flats across various locations in Delhi. Since its launch on June 30, the scheme has garnered significant interest, with around 25% of the flats already booked within just 10 days. In this article, we will delve into the details of the scheme and explore the encouraging response it has received so far.

The DDAs housing scheme offers flats in different categories at various locations in Delhi. The flats available include 1BHK, 2BHK, and 3BHK units. These flats are offered in Narela, Rohini, Siraspur, Dwarka, Loknayak Puram, and Jasola.

Encouraging Response from Buyers
Since the booking window opened on DDAs website at noon on July 10, more than 650 flats were swiftly booked on the very same day. Remarkably, all 50 flats in Dwarka were sold out on the first day itself, showcasing the high demand for this housing scheme.

Booking Status as of July 21
According to officials, out of the 5,500 flats available under the scheme, over 1,400 have already been booked as of July 21. The maximum bookings were observed in Rohini (670 flats) and Narela (625 flats). Other locations, such as Jasola (23), Siraspur (14), and Loknayak Puram (33), have also seen an encouraging response, bringing the total number of flats booked to 1,415.

DMRCs Metro Line Extension Proposal
The recent Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) proposal to extend the metro line to Kundli, covering sectors 34 and 35 in Rohini and Narela, is expected to benefit buyers of the ongoing housing scheme. The proposed Rithala Narela corridor may be extended up to Kundli in Haryana, providing additional connectivity to the neighbouring state.

Future Plans to Attract More Buyers
DDA officials expressed satisfaction with the schemes performance and plan to continue efforts to attract more buyers. They are considering organizing more camps and increasing publicity to promote the housing scheme further.

Demand Cum Allotment Letter Issuance
For those who have booked flats, the DDA has assured that demand cum allotment letters will be issued online within 24 hours of booking.

Online Booking and Heavy Traffic on DDAs Website
Registration and booking for the housing scheme are ongoing, and people can book flats of their choice through the DDAs website. On July 10, the website experienced heavy traffic, with more than 11 lakh hits recorded within the first six hours of the opening of the booking phase IV. By late night, this number grew to over 17 lakh hits, indicating the immense interest in the scheme.
