Noida Authority To Bring On Board A Private Firm For Adorning 630 Parks and Green Belts Soon

Noida Authority will soon hire a private company to redesign and adorn 630 parks and green belts in and across the city.

According to the Noida authority, the landscaping works in the city need a systematic and scientific methodology. The private consultants will share artful ideas and give inputs on landscape design and plant and tree selection.

Noida OSD stated that there are no designers currently to advise for accurate landscaping of the parks and green belts in the city. These professionals will thoroughly guide officers about which plants need to be planted where on the basis of the saline nature of the soil. They will also teach about plants ability to improve air quality. Beyond this, the consultants will give their expertise on planting medicinal plants that can help boost the environmental benefits.

The list of some major parks in Noida includes Express View Park in Sector 93, Biodiversity Park in Sector 91, Dalit Prerna Sthal in Sector 95 and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park in Sector 150.

In particular, Chief Minister will likely initiate Ved Van in Sector 78 in an event on June 25. This is a 12 acre park featuring a theme of the four Vedas and designed for Rs 24 Crore.

The authority has invited the designers and landscaping agencies to their office on June 28 to give presentations on concepts for the green spaces beautification. As per the officials, companies, as well as landscape architects and designers, can apply for the project.
