Indias First Ring Metro in Delhi Soon

Because of the ring road, it will be easier to commute to Ghaziabad, Noida, Bahadurgarh and Faridabad. Also, train stations and airport will be easily accessible to the people living in Delhi. The metro line is expected to save the time and money of commuters.
NEW DELHI The corridor between Majlis Park and Maujpur will be the first ring metro corridor in the nation. It is expected to be completed by 2024. There will be eight stations on this stretch, along with a 1.4 km flyover between Yamuna Vihar and Bhajanpura.
This will also be the longest metro corridor stretching to a distance of about 71.15 kilometres. The 12.55 km long metro network connecting east, west, north and south Delhi will be finished soon.
There are already thirty six stations on the ring road with a length of 58 kilometres. With the completion of the Majlis Park to Maujpur stretch, there will be Forty six stations.

A few interchange stations which will be available on the ring road line include Welcome, Karkardooma, Durgbai Deshmukh Marg, Anand Vihar ISBT, Mayur Vihar Phase 1, Lajpat Nagar, INA, Delhi Hatt, Netaji Subhash Place, Azadpur, Punjabi Bagh West and Rajouri Garden.

DMRC was not able to get authorisation to remove 2500 trees, due to which Delhi Metros fourth section (Majlis Park to Maujpur) is delayed by 30 months. It is expected to be completed by 2024. It was supposed to be completed by September 2023. Fifty eight per cent work on the line is already finished.
The projects cost of three metro lines increased by 15 per cent due to the delay. The initial budget of the price was Rs 10,479.6 crores which is now increased to Rs 12,048.5 crores.
