Godrej Properties enters Greater Noida with 100-acre golf-centric township

Bengaluru: Mumbai-based Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL) has launched its first project in Greater Noida, a 100-acre golf-themed township. The Greater Noida property market that has performed better than other locations in the National Capital Region (NCR) over the last three years.
The project located at Sector 27 in Great Noida, will be a low-density development with a 9-hole golf course and villas. This will be GPL’s seventh project in NCR.
Greater Noida is an important part of the NCR market and this project fits well with our strategy of deepening our presence across the country’s leading real estate markets," said Pirojsha Godrej, managing director and chief executive at Godrej Properties.

In March, GPL raised $275 million for Godrej Residential Investment Program II (GRIP-II) to invest in residential projects. The money came from a clutch of investors with Dutch pension fund asset manager APG Asset Management NV as the lead investor.

Shares of Godrej Properties Ltd closed at ₹ 338.15 apiece on BSE, up 2.14% from previous close, while the exchange’s benchmark Sensex rose 0.87% to 27,009.67 points.
