Delhi Development Authority Allocates 1,078 EWS Flats Under Seetu Punarwas Yojana

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has taken a significant step towards replacing slums with housing by allocating 1,078 flats to economically weaker section (EWS) families under the Seetu Punarwas Yojana.

Allocation of Flats in Jwalapuri Bagh and Ashok Vihar Clusters
In a recent statement, the DDA announced that the allocated flats had been granted to eligible families residing in the Jwalapuri Bagh and Ashok Vihar clusters. On June 27, demand based allocation letters were issued to all the families, ensuring a fair and transparent process.

Facilitation Centre for Jwalapuri Bagh Cluster
To assist the residents of the Jwalapuri Bagh cluster, the DDA has set up a facilitation centre in close proximity. This facility, inaugurated by MP Harsh Vardhan on Thursday, will provide a range of services to the clusters residents.

Services Offered at the Facilitation Centre
The newly established centre aims to streamline the process for the residents and offer essential services. Some of the services provided include the distribution of demand based allocation letters, biometric verification, assistance in obtaining loans from financial institutions for interested allottees, support in preparing and submitting property possession documents, and issuance of possession certificates.

The Seetu Punarwas Yojana strives to enhance the living conditions of economically weaker sections by offering them affordable and sustainable housing options. Through this initiative, the DDA aims to replace slums with well designed and habitable housing units, ensuring a better quality of life for the residents.
