DDAs FCFS Housing Scheme Receives Strong Response, 1000 Flats Booked

Officials from the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) announced on Monday that over 650 flats have been booked as part of the FCFS housing scheme launched on June 30. As of 5:30 pm on Tuesday, one thousand flats were booked.
The scheme includes 5,500 flats across various locations in Delhi and covers all categories of flats.

Furthermore, the DDA has issued 945 demand cum allotment letters within 24 hours through the online medium. This quick issuance of letters aims to streamline the allotment process for the scheme.

Dwarkas 2BHK flats sold out within hours: The DDA reported that 2BHK flats in Dwarka were completely sold out within a few hours of the booking opening on Monday. Additionally, flats in Narela and Rohini are experiencing heavy demand from the public.

According to the DDA, a total of 149 2 BHK MIG flats have been sold in Pocket 1C of Narela Sector A1 to A4. Additionally, all 50 2 BHK MIG flats in Dwarka Sector 19B Pocket 3 were sold out within hours of opening bookings.

Strong Response to DDA Housing Scheme
Since opening the booking window on the DDAs website at 12 noon on Monday, the website has received over 1.3 million hits by evening.

As of 5:30 pm on Tuesday, a total of 435 flats, including MIG and LIG, have been sold in Narela. In addition, 10 LIG flats have been booked in Siraspur, 50 MIG flats in Dwarka, 16 HIG flats in Jasola, 475 LIG flats in Rohini, and 29 LIG flats in Loknayak Puram.

Addressing Heavy Website Traffic
During the first six hours of the booking phase, the DDA website experienced heavy traffic, with hits surpassing 11 lakhs. To assist the public in booking flats, the DDA is increasing server capacity to handle the surge in traffic.
